no video today

Red Currants are delicious.

Shot video today but didn't have time to edit it. It's really great too. Brandenburg Gate and stuff in the Mitte. Then this giant elephant came charging down the street. People we're screaming "Run for your lives!" (only in german), but my battery had died just as I saw the giant elephant. I'll put the other footage up tomorrow.

Living in the East

The other side of the Wall, John leCarre, growing up with the cold war - can't resist these thoughts, which I think have nothing to do with the real place. The cab driver laughed and said that the wall came down 20,000 years ago.

I also feel like Steppenwolf (Herman Hesse book for you young readers) - am I the old man in a young town?

there are one million cars in Berlin (according to the guidebook). there must also be five million bicycles.
